SFI award for medium-term Covid-19 forecasting
A team led by our colleague Prof Andrew Parnell at the Hamilton Institute has secured Science Foundation Ireland funding to study medium-term impact and recovery forecasting from COVID-19 in Ireland. The goal is to produce a number of computational tools that the Irish state can use during the path to social, economic and health recovery. The full team includes a large number of academics and students at the Hamilton Institute, and is led by PIs Andrew Parnell, Ken Duffy, Subhra Dey, David Malone, Catherine Hurley, Niamh Cahill, Rafael de Andrade Moral, Paul Moynagh and Damien Woods.
